Day shift trending up

Got off early and decided to stop in before heading home. Funny who 3 p.m. suddenly turned into 7 p.m. after a steady stream of conversation and dances with lovely ladies. There is no cover or check-in at the door during day shift.

This visit had the highest number of dancers and highest quality of dancers I've seen on a day shift since the pandemic hit. It was also the week between Christmas and New Year's which might have opened up more available time for dancers to report for duty. Anyway, I was very pleased.

Right off the bat Carmen, a spinner-ish young AA gal, spotted me and joined me at my table. It's funny. She's pretty much an open book and shares just about everything going on in her personal life. Bought her a drink as I was ordering mine. We were seated by the back stage and just after our drinks arrived, a girl stepped on stage to do an audition dance. My understanding is that all auditions happen during day shift. Carmen provided play-by-play analysis of the audition dance...which seemed pretty middle of the road to me.
