Hot Women, No Mileage, Don't Bother
TL; DR: large upscale topless club; nightshift is very active; $40 cover + tax (total $43 and change) if you drive yourself (prob. more if you take taxi or Uber); ID scan required; hot girls but very low mileage; communal VIP room is $100 for 15 min + required $25 drink buy, and $200 for $30 min + required $50 drink buy.
This is the third of three reviews of clubs I visited during my recent trip to Vegas. I visited SR on a Wednesday in early January around 1:30 a.m. During my time in Vegas, SR opened at 9:00 p.m. (Sapphire opened up at 8:00 p.m.). SR is a mid-to-large upscale topless club. The last time I visited, the club opened at noon, and they had a very cheap $5 lunch special. A girl I talked to said that they tried to open at 2:00 p.m. the previous week, but it wasn’t working for them, so they went back to opening at 9:00 p.m.
I drove a rental to the club, and the bouncer at the front scanned my ID and patted me down for weapons. There’s a sign in front stating their dress code – basically no streetwear, like sweats, sweatshirts, shorts, etc. The cashier girls charged me $40 + tax – it was a weird amount – something like $43.26. In the past if you got there by taxi or Uber, they charged even more because the club has to pay a kickback to the taxi/Uber to keep them driving customers to the club. I don’t have any info about that, but it wouldn’t be surprising if that’s still the case. When I went to CH3 earlier in my trip, the front guy radioed to the cashier girls “single out-of-state male, self-driving coming in.” That’s probably to let them know that I shouldn’t be charged the spiff fee.
