Ch-Ch-Changes

We’ve been going to PC for years, usually for afternoon happy hours. There was about a year-long break during the 1st year of the pandemic, but things lightened up a little over the summer and fall of this year so we started checking it out more periodically.

Apparently the long-time manager died sometime in the late summer, and the new management changes are pretty apparent on recent visits. For starters, they removed all the tap beer. Only bottles and the prices have been raised a few times. While this is still very much a small locals club (especially during the day), the drink prices are now comparable to the bigger clubs downtown.

The second major change we’ve noticed is the talent. There was a healthy mix of ethnicity before COVID, most of the girls we’ve seen lately tend to have more a Latin flavor. The downsides, from my perspective, are that it looks like a lot of our old favorites are gone, and that 3/4 of the music played is Spanish, where it used to be a decent variety of hip-hop, metal, rock, Spanish, and even country. The upside is that it appears some of the OLDER entertainers have finally decided to move on. I’m not sure if I’ve seen a dancer over 30 in recent trips.
