This is probably the best club in Pittsburgh, though I have yet to check out Spearmint Rhino, which was promising. Also, this place is listed as nude on here, but i didn’t see any nudity when I was there, which personally, I don’t care for. Show me the sexy dancing and the cute outfits, I don’t need to see your genitals. So that was a bonus for me that the girls kept their bottoms on.
I went on a Tuesday evening around 11pm, they do a special on Tuesday with 2$ drinks and 2 for 1 dances til midnight, so I wish I had gotten there earlier to take advantage of that.
Parking was 8$ and the cover was 7$ so not too bad.
There is a center stage with a bar surrounding it, and as others have said you are a few feet away from whomever is dancing on the center stage. If you want to tip them, you either crumple the bill up and toss it, or you can try to throw them and the bartenders pick up what doesn’t make it.
The nice thing is that there is another stage that the girls go to after the center where you can get closer and interact with them more.
For a weeknight I felt like there were a lot of girls working, and in my opinion they were all gorgeous, save 1 or 2 that just weren’t my type. Some of them really knew how to dance and actually use the pole too, which is always more fun.
I didn’t buy any dances, but they were 2 for 1 that night, so not that bad. There seemed to be different levels, going from a couch dance, which was semi-public, to a private, and I think they had 15, 30, and 60 minute rooms.
The girls were walking around and mingling with people, but they weren’t pushy. After 1, a lot started to go home, and they began to group together and hang out and interact less, which was understandable since most of the people there had been there for awhile, and probably would have bought a dance at that point if they were going to.
As for the crowd, it was just the right amount in my opinion. There was a good mix of men and women, which for me is a plus. I don’t like clubs that only cater to men, i think higher of a place if women are comfortable going there. The crowd was small enough that you could sit wherever you wanted, when I wanted to be at the bar I could, and when i wanted to be close to the stage I could.
I could definitely see the place being crowded and maybe less fun on a weekend though. If there was a weekend crowd, you might not be able to get close to the stage when you want to. There was a second stage that was unused that night, so that could help, but I could still see it getting pretty crowded, there was not a lot of seating.
Overall, I would say this place is pretty fantastic and I would definitely recommend it. I will definitely be visiting anytime I stop in Pittsburgh!
