Tuesday Night. Rainy. Way uptown in Fort George. Not a high income area but I wouldn't say the hood. NYPD 34th precinct right across the street. Parking is a huge pain in the ass in this area good luck if you drove. I did on this night and just found something by a hydrant. Alright it has the purple lights of 21 Bar in the windows. I go to open the door locked. Big dominican dude comes out. ID and pat down. Walk in. No cover. Very small bar. I was one of two customers, the two more came in shortly after and about 5 dancers. No stage just girls dance on the bar. Typical dive bar look just with dancers. Dances are $20. Drinks special is get a free shot with your beer.

Dancers 5 girls. All Dominican. Nothing horrible horrible but nothing to make me want to go back lets put it that way.

As I'm tipping the bouncers came over and told me I can't touch the dancers on the bar. Add to the buzzkill this place is so small they were sitting right behind me while I was at the bar. I should've took the hint. One dominican chick was alright I said you know let me see how lap dances are here. We go to the back, and their is no lap dance area really, one bouncers pulls out a couch against the mirror. Then it's $20 upfront. He then tells just keep your hands to the side and proceeds to stand right next to me while I get the dance. Uncomfortable, total buzzkill, zero wood. Look I have a clean cut look to me, maybe they thought I was a cop or some shit but this was easily the gayest time I had a strip club. These bouncers are too much, we're not in midtown, this way up in the heights, it's a Dominican working class type area, I was expecting a seedy spot, no seediness just fucking gayness. This is a shitty dive bar and they police it like it's a concentration camp. It's not fair to hold it against the girls who were nice to me, they all asked my name and said thank you but everybody in this club is going down on the scores including the dancers who if they decided to work for these jackasses then their stupidity is must be unbound.
