It keeps on going and going... now on the upswing.

Filly's is a strip club that lands solidly in the middle of the pack generally. For the area if you run to Greensboro there are higher end places like Mirage and lower end options like South Side Johnny's that get the job done... BUT if you are in Winston this would be my pick as there are a decent variety of girls and some new talent that's moved in that actually can deliver both excellent dances and good conversation (mind blown, I know). The overall talent selection is probably the best mix of quality/value in WS. I've been here about 30 times over the past decade or so, so I'm combining elements in this review. Almost all of my visits have been during the day as I hate busy clubs and being next to the ballpark on game nights this club is definitely bustling then.

As with most of the clubs in the region that have been around since Nixon was in office (not literally, but it feels like it) they get a little better then a little worse and it's just a never-ending cycle. Filly's is definitely on the upswing now but still higher mid-tier talent wise with some hotties and a couple of notties. This isn't Penthouse in Houston or Cloakroom in DC with a floor full of 10's. However, VIP is worth it within limits. In years past extras were on the menu but my understanding now is that they are unlikely as one of my ATF's (who is very extras friendly) confirmed that her friends who dance here can't really get away with them. You can however get solid contact, touching and if lucky maybe a little stick shifting which should get the job done for most folks... just don't expect to be barebacking the bartender while someone shoots ping pong balls across the room from their... well... just go to TJ or SE Asia for that. This is part of the review where we should have a moment of silence for Follies in Atlanta.

Anyway, I suspect the stricter rules these days are due in part to the new management that came on board right as the pandemic started. OTC with some dancers is on the table if you are a regular, have charm and all of the usual caveats. It's definitely not an OTC focused club however and I expect it won't be on offer from most of the girls for most of the people reading this review. For you, you can take advantage of some remarkably good bar specials. I'm not a drinker but I always recall seeing reasonable prices on the neon specials sign, which is a departure from the $15 drinks at most of the clubs I deal with in the Mid-Atlantic region. You can find similar specials at some other GSO/WS clubs however, the whole area feels like a bargain to me from that perspective but they definitely seem drink focused here. Good spot for a group of guys to drink, ogle and tip with better dances than a slightly higher end spot like Mirage.
