Thu Afternoon Visit at The Strip

I’ve been going to LS for months and decided it’s time to give it my review. As far as clubs in Metro Detroit are concerned, this place is probably my favorite or maybe tied with Flight Club. FC has maybe slightly hotter women on a consistent basis, but LS is a better value for sure.

The layout has been described many times. Airplane shaped stage with the bar towards the front of the room and a row of smaller tables run along the stage. There are booths on both sides of the stage as well. One very small complaint is I wish the overall space was larger. When it gets really busy here (wkend nights mainly) it gets packed and uncomfortable. I am a day shift guy and it’s normally not as much of an issue then. No bathroom troll during the day. It’s $7 to valet (mandatory) and after 7pm there’s a $20 cover. Booths are often free during the day and $20-40 in the evening. VIP area is downstairs and there 4 medium sized booths with curtains and benches and the “big room” which I’ve never been in. $20 for standard booth and $40 for big room. The area feels safe and I’ve never seen anyone acting a fool here (which I really like).

As for the people, there’s something for everyone. To start, the bartenders and wait staff are really hot and most are pretty friendly. There were about 10-12 dancers this particular afternoon. About 75% white and 25% AA or Latina. There’s always a couple of super hot girls there and I’ve never seen any I would describe as troll-ish or super unattractive.
