When in Rome...

First time to Flashdancers on a recent trip to NY. Note there are two locations. I am reviewing the one on 45th street. I was there two times on a Wednesday - once from about 3-5 pm and a second time from about 11-1 am after the Nets game. I was in NY for a few days for work. En route to my hotel a guy handed me a free entry pass. When I went early in the day they weren't charging any cover and they didn't accept the pass on my late night visit so the card worked for them I guess - got me there (2x) yet it didn't really save me anything.

I have heard about Flashdancer's here and there over time and definitely equate it to an established club and brand that's been around for ever. Upon check in I was surprised to see that it's not very big and that the ceilings are low. It's NY so being cramped is common but the ceilings seemed like 8 feet high - odd for a club. I ordered numerous domestic beers over the afternoon and evening and I think they were $13. Most SCs that I frequent charge $6-7 on average but it's NY so bend over a bit.

The mix of dancers was good and most were hot enough. Every size, shape and color that one may desire. For the most part good bodies and not a single that should not be dancing - which can often be seen in clubs. I read on some other reviews that VIP dances could be had for $700-$1,700 but wouldn't happen even if I won the lottery. Who the fuck pays those rates? I know some people make some ridiculous money in this town but even so that would never jive for me. I'm more down for an experience like I had at FKK Sharks - see that review from Jan 2020.
