Club Exotica is not one of...

Club Exotica is not one of my favorite clubs in Portland. There usually is only one stage going but on the busier nights they will open a second stage. They check everyone’s ID at the door and scan it in into some kind of machine to keep a record. I have seen a few other clubs do this but I don’t like it much.

I stopped in on a Thursday night about 9:00 o’clock. After checking and scanning my ID they pissed me off further by telling me I couldn’t wear my baseball cap. No hats of any kind. You have to understand that I always dress nice; new $80 jeans, an expensive shirt, Polo jacket and often a $25-$30 matching baseball cap. Exotica is a run down club in a shitty industrial neighborhood. The most upscale strip clubs in Portland allow hats so I don’t know what they are trying to prove. I put my hat in the car and went in anyway but decided it would be my last visit.

Fake tits, fat thighs, and tattooed miscellaneous is the best way to describe many of the dancers. Most of the seven or eight girls working were in the 4 to 6 range. They have the usually lap dance area off the main floor and from my observation the $20 private dances were the typical air dances common to Portland.
