Disappointed

Stopped by the Dollhouse at 7:30 Thursday night. The parking lot had over 20 cars in it so I figured the club must be busy, it wasn’t. I walk in the front door, to the left was a window where a girl was collecting a $10 cover and sitting behind me was a guy that did a pat down, checking for weapons.

The Club is over 30 years old, and unfortunately they haven’t made many upgrades over the 30 years. In other words it was once a pretty nice classy club but now is pretty run down. The building is square and you enter on the corner and go down a short hallway with the stage straight ahead. To the right is the restrooms and the private dance area. To the left is the bar that runs the length of the building. The bar sits away from the wall so you can sit on both sides of the bar.

I sat on the back side of the bar and ordered a Bud Light, it was $2. There were about 7 black dancers and 3 white dancers. They ranged in quality from 3 to 7 with one white dancer being a 9. There were 6 black customers and 2 white with the overall vibe of the club being pretty ghetto.

A large black dancer joined be at the bar. I was her first night and I knew more about the club than she did. She was pleasant but not much more. I only saw one dancer that I would want to do a private dance with and she was real busy, so I had my one beer and left. I will be a long time before I go back, I just didn’t like the vibe.
