Every visit it's a bit closer to the old normal.

Back at my favorite Las Vegas club after a month of traveling and almost nothing has changed. The small club is nearly disgustingly dingy looking, worn out and the definition of a dive club. Probably 8 small tables in front of the main stage and bench seating pretty much all around the perimeter. Beer is about $5 and liquor is around $10. Lady drinks are the same price as customer drinks. Bathroom is particularly disgusting if you have to do anything more than you can do standing up you’ll want to go to the Jerry’s Casino across the street.

The only thing I noticed different this visit is that they started main room floor dances again. Floor dances were stopped all through Covid. Floor dances are $10 and no clothing is removed, although with the right dancer reaching under clothing and mutual groping are often encouraged. The only other dance option is a “vip” dance in a community back room at $25 a song. I have often been offered 5 for a hundred deal but I don’t know if that is an official price point. The back room is pretty much as worn out and old looking as the rest of the club but at least it’s very dark. There are cameras though.

I also noticed on this trip that back room mileage is picking up. For a while there the dances were getting much tamer but yesterday hands down pants was encountered by two different dancers. I had cut down my visits to once every couple months but I might have to get more regular again.
