Saturday Matinee Talent Deficit

I visited yesterday (Saturday) afternoon and stayed for about 3 hours. No cover in the afternoon. I went through the metal detector and it rang but the Desire guy waved me through anyway, I guess I didn't look too threatening??

$5 for a bottle of water and $6 for a Bud. I would say there were about 40 customers there while I was and about 15 dancers. A lot of the customers just seemed content to hang out at the bar with little to no interaction with the dancers. the crowd was definitely middle age white guys for the most part.

I was very disappointed in the talent level and surprised at how many large dancers were there - some exceedingly so. What I found most surprising was that I met a dancer at a CT club about 2 years ago who was tall, relatively thin and very attractive - she told me she auditioned for Desire but was turned down - just hard to believe as she was 10x more attractive than most of the dancers here today. I saw about half the dancers who were there go on the stage - Dylan, Melissa, Vega, Ali, Bruna - all seemed pleasant enough but quite large in size.
