Wasted Trip

I hadn't been here in 7 or 8 years, I think I did a review the last time I visited. Based on recent reviews I wasn't expecting much, but a friend said he had a lot of fun on a recent trip so I stopped in. I arrived around 7:30 on a Thursday, I believe they open at 5, and the place was dead, which I expected might be the case that early in the evening. The club looks the same inside as it did the last time I visited. It is large, with a very high ceiling and seemed pretty clean in the main space. The bartender was talking to another club employee and there were no other customers. After a few minutes the bartender wandered over to me and got me a drink and then immediately went back to her previous conversation. About 15 minutes later a woman walked in to audition. She was a short brunette who was very curvy and heavily tattooed with quite a few piercings. She took a few minutes to get ready and then started dancing. She was average at best but with no one else in the club I watched her from the bar, something the bartender and the other club employee weren't really doing. Eventually they told her she could stop and that she was hired and could start immediately. She came over and sat next to me and was actually able to have a decent conversation. We talked for about 20 minutes but she never said a word about lapdances. A little after 8:00 two more dancers walked in and disappeared into the dressing room, followed by two more a few minutes later. Eventually one came out and introduced herself to the dancer sitting next to me as Bubblegum and immediately disappeared again. By this point it was after 8:30, the bartender had never returned to check on me, none of the new arrivals were anywhere to be seen and no other customers had arrived. The dancer I was talking to was talking about her kid and didn't seem like she would ever offer any dances and since she was brand new and had talked to the bartender for a combined grand total of 45 seconds I don't think she even knew what the prices were anyways. She wasn't hot enough for me to ask for a dance and since I'm paying for them I don't like to chase. My glass was long empty and it seemed like the situation wasn't going to improve within the next 30 minutes so I headed out.
