Goldrush is a contender!

I decided to check out Goldrush on a Saturday night, following disappointing visits to Platinum and Wax on Friday night. The Platinum and Wax visits were so uneventful, I decided to not even attempt to write separate reviews on them. I will just use them as comparison within this review.

I arrived at Goldrush around 1130 pm. I was surprised to see a full parking lot, since I hadn't seen that at this club in a very long time. It cost $10 to self-park. There was a light pat down and ID check. Cover was $10. On Friday night, at Platinum, it cost 20 to self park next door to club and cover was $30! Parking at Wax was 20 across street, and they let me in free at 1:45 am. Wax closed at 2:15 am that night. I didn't vibe with any of the girls in Platinum or Wax on Friday.

After entering Goldrush Saturday night, I was very impressed by the appearance. The place looked new and immaculate. There were about 60-80 customers. The club is somewhat spacious and everyone was spread out with room to move around and lots of places to sit at a table, booth or bar. I made a trip to the restroom and the attendant was a laid back no-pressure older gentleman. Unlike the idiot at Platinum who talked shit about me only tipping him a dollar, after I pissed and used HIS soap and towel.
