Quick Stop for Recon Purposes

I drove through Jacksonville mid-afternoon the day before Thanksgiving and made brief stops at what I understand to be the only two nude clubs in town – Doll House and Sinsations – before getting back on the road. Because they’re nude clubs, neither serves alcohol. Girls dancing onstage will get nude when tips reach $5.00. At this time of day, each club had plenty of free parking in a paved lot.

I had fond memories of visiting the Doll House more than 20 years ago, but it was in a different building, so this was my first visit here. I was only there for 45 minutes, as I had limited time and was making this a recon visit before heading to Sinsations about 10 minutes away.

It was sunny outside, and when I walked in it was so dark I couldn’t really see anything. I sort of spotted a dancer sitting near the door, who called me over and asked if I wanted some company. I figured what better way to let my eyes get accustomed to the darkness and get some info on dances and other particulars.
