An interesting time while meeting a new friend

I hadn’t been here in quite some time. Arrived at 8:00 or so on a Tuesday night. Parking lot was fairly packed it is well lit, ironically, I parked in the same spot I did some years back. I walked to the front door, where there is a large jar filled with dollar bills, and a larger guy standing next to it. Without him asking, I put 2 bucks into the jar and walked inside.

Just inside the front door a lovely girl sits. She said the cover was $10. I gave her a $20, she counted out ten singles, and I out two of them into another large tip jar and stepped inside where a cocktail waitress asked if I’d need help finding a seat. I told her I’d had a long drive and really needed the bathroom. That “facility” is straight ahead and then a right turn. After finishing, the obligatory bathroom attendant was waiting at the sink with water running and soap dispenser in hand. Another buck into his tip tray and I venture out to find a seat.

Not sure why, but the club seemed smaller than what I remembered. The bar is to the left as you enter, with a stage behind it. There are two more stages on the opposite side of the bar. Continuing straight from the entrance and up a step it two is a fourth stage.
