VIP not 4 me?!?
First time back here on a feature night. The line to get in was long enough that the security guy had to hold the door open. While in line, I saw some dancers come in or return from break. In civilian clothing and normal lighting, they were not too impressive. After a lengthy queue, the door lady (same one since pre-pandemic) tries to upsell the VIP bracelet, but I turn her down since I know you can buy it any time and the few girls I had described earlier were not my cup of tea. Then she short changes and gives a pretty airheaded excuse when I confront her; no tip for her! By the way the cover is $25 on a Saturday night.
The white board near the entrance lists the girls working and many of them include their dance pricing. The standard seemed to be $40 for 1 and $100 for 3; oddly some also wrote $80 for 2 as if someone would expect the unit economics to go up from one to two! There were 40+ dancers listed, but upon reviewing my body counting abilities I believe that may include some on break or hiding in the back waiting for their regulars only.
The place is packed, but only one stage is open. I sit near the security guy who checks for VIP bracelets. To be defiant, I roll my general bracelet up my sleeve to appear as if I have no bracelet. I do not think any one cared, but a few dancers thought I was not a customer and asked me if I was a working member of the feature's crew. Pro tip: if you do not like being approached (I prefer to be hunter rather than the hunted) go sans bracelet (or at least make it look like it).
