Supply and Demand Issue I Guess

First time visiting a CoI club, this one is located in good sized strip mall with ample parking and good lighting, no issues there. Got there around 9:30PM on a Saturday, cover was $20, that and one half-hearted wand down and I was in. Club has a big stage in the center, bar on one side, and seating all around. Stage show got through around 15 girls before I noticed a repeat, they generally get fully nude part way through the second song. Some had good pole work, others mostly didn't bother. Mostly white and latina, mostly petite and natural, on the whole generally more attractive than I expected for a local(?) club. The stage is not well lit so you have to be in the seats right along the rail to get a good look (there may also be a beam blocking your view sometimes depending on your seat). Pretty soon after I came in, one girl (whose name I plum forgot) came over and sat next to me and tried to start a chat. Immediately a waitress appeared and asked if I wanted to buy her a drink. I told her just a water for me (it was $6 I think) and no waitresses bothered me for the rest of the night. Some guy (prob a regular) recognized the girl so she went over to him instead.

Now here's my bummer part. When I initially got in around 9:30, there were maybe 8 guys in the main floor. By about an hour later there were probably close to 40, plus who knows how many were in back rooms. By around 11 it was very obvious there were just too few girls for way too many guys, they weren't even able to keep someone on the stage constantly by that point, and the DJ was just constantly announcing a name, only to have to change it when the girl didn't come up. I'm not used to having to run down a girl to get even a basic lapdance, though this is the first time I've visited a club since the pandemic, and maybe that's the part of it. Other than that first girl that tried to sucker a drink out of me, none of them ever came to me on their own. It seemed like any girl that walked out into the seating area was snatched up instantly. With what seemed like 40 dudes starring at an empty stage, I left around 11:30. Guess if I come back I need to be more aggressive.
