Get the funk out of here...

I've been here a few times in the past but thought I'd give an update on my most recent visit earlier this week. Arrived around 10 PM on a Monday night. I'd describe the place as feeling about "half full" with open scattered tables here and there (which I actually prefer to crowded or packed as I've sometimes seen it there). There were a good number of dancers, easily over 50 and they ran the gamut from 4+ to 8's. I didn't see any that I would consider 10's or even 9's. The vast majority were white and/or Latina. There was also far less silicone than I like (or had hoped) to see.

One thing I like is the $3 cover. However, this was offset a little by the gal giving me a bunch of $2's in change. Really? Call it (4) $2, (1) $5, and (4) $1. She had to open a new pack of $2's. I asked if she could give me $1's instead of the $2's and she made such a grimace that I said "never mind, I'll use them for drinks." Found a pretty cool waitress, "Alba." She was an older Latina but with a quick wit. Waters were $5.75. I ordered two over the course of the night and rounded them up to $7 given she made some effort to be engaging and tell me a little about the club. E.g. difference between upstairs and downstairs and why I'd probably like it downstairs better. Anyway, it's really like $20 including two drinks which is better than PT's, for instance, which is $20 cover.

The one thing that stood out to me about this visit and thus prompted the review is that I found far more dancers came up to me than usual. I've sat in this club sometimes when busier and gone for over hour or more before being approached. This visit it was far more frequent and not just the "vanna dance" parade you get some places. After spending some time assessing the talent I eventually got sets of laps from two dancers.
