Frankly, not great.

I’ve been out of the PL business since August due to local covid levels, and finally felt comfortable heading back to this venue that I’ve frequented since 1992. My hopes for tits, ass, and adventure were high after 4 months on the bench.

Basics: The Playground is in a neighborhood of Seattle called Ballard, there are apartments, houses, and businesses all around it. The building has been a strip club since the 1960’s, with various makeovers over the years. There is one stage, a lap dance area (LDA) that is curtained off, and a more curtained off VIP. Drinks include soda gun basics, no booze per WA state law, and allegedly a recent coffee upgrade to include espresso. Door is $15 and comes with a free drink. Dances are $40 and up. In the room this night were 3 Caucasians, 1 AA, 1 Asian, and a Latina. Quality was low, in the 3-5 range. I am fairly certain that hip hop has gotten materially stupider since August, and the Playground have situated themselves squarely at the blunt tip of this spear. It’s as if hip hop is going through the equivalent of punk’s “Ramones” phase where dumb is cool. There were ~7 PL’s in attendance.

Details: having plucked up my courage with a few drinks at a local rock and roll watering hole, I headed to this venerable establishment. Walking in, I immediately knew that I was in for a tough night. We had Indigo, a super curvy AA with a huge ass (in a good way), spectacular D’s, and sort of a weird frame that seemed mostly dedicated to supporting the ass. Not a pretty girl. Also in attendance was “Karen” from my July 6, 2021 review https://tuscl.net/review.php?id=376560 . Not a great frame, rack, or ass, but still kind of cute like if the secretary from your office was stripping on the side. She’s never going to go platinum as a dancer though. She has a dirty-talk game that’s legitimate and is sweet about talking you up before the dance. From experience I was fairly certain that while there were not going to be any extras here, it would be a fun dance. Also in attendance was a tall slender pretty Asian with 90’s style gravity defying implants (henceforth Gravity), a hard no for me. Finally, there were a couple of emaciated looking Caucasians (henceforth not mentioned) and a horse faced Latina (henceforth Horseface), none with enough redeeming factors to prompt a dance. In summary, not a ton of great options, and a bit of a let down when compared with the high-quality talent I came across in this venue last summer.
