Convenient location if you are staying in Downtown SJ

I was staying in Downtown San Jose over the weekend. I had never been before. Overall, downtown SJ is really fun. Good bars, good restaurants, a lot of young professionals out on the town. As I walked through the downtown area, I saw that Spearmint Rhino was in the heart of it, and walking distance to my hotel. I looked up online and saw they were only open Friday and Sat from 9p-2pm. Very limited hours, but Im sure that’s due to lack of dancers and staff.

I walked in at 9:30pm on Saturday. There was maybe 1-2 other customers, and 2 girls working. I sat at the bar and ordered a drink. Drinks were 7-14 bucks depending on what you got. I sat at the bar for a bit hoping more girls would show up. At 10pm a few more got there. By 11, there were about 10 girls working. Mostly Latina, with a few whites and Asians mixed in. Girls ranged from 5-8.

There was regular stage presence and DJ was great. Kept the girls always rotating on the stage. After 11, the stage was never empty. At about 11:30, the place was full of customers as well. It’s a decent size space with about 15 tables on the floor to sit at and about 10 seats at the stage.
