American Bush - Not Up to Par?

I was in SLC and had a little time on my hands so I decided to try the American Bush. I had been there several years ago and it wasn't bad... for a UT club that is. Upon arrival the parking area was about 1/2 full since it was early afternoon. So far so good. I do like the fact that there is electric vehicle charging.

When I walked in the door there was a guy at the desk who wasn't very friendly - all business. $7 cover fee and I was in the club. The first thing that struck me was how dark it was. I realize most clubs are pretty dark until your eyes get used to it, but this seemed darker than normal. I arrived between sets and there wasn't anyone on stage... I found a seat about 1/2 way between the stage (didn't want to be the only person on pervert row) and the back where there were a few sketchy looking guys along the wall, at least as far as I could see. I went to the bar and got a Coke and sat back down just as the next dancer started. She was meh... about a six. After a few uninspiring dances she finished and came around for the mandatory tip... I have mixed feelings about this. At least the girl got some tips this way, and in the past it has been a good time to ask for a private dance, but I just don't like the hustle.

It turned out there were only 4 girls rotating while I was there. I'm not sure if one or two might have been tied up with VIP dances? Only one of the dancers was my type body wise, and I did go to the rail and tip her. She put on a pretty good show. After she came around for the tip walk, she came back and we talked for a while. I was thinking about a private dance, but in talking with her we really didn't connect, so I passed. I tough if I waited a little while there would be some more girls, but if there was I didn't see them on the stage.
