Empty and not a good time

Stopped by House of Babes on Monday at about 5:15 PM after work. It was pouring down rain. I pulled into their parking lot which is on the west side of the building. There were three cars in the parking lot and one was leaving, not a good sign. I decided to see if they were open so I went to the door and it was open, so I went in. There was no cover and not much else. One barmaid, one girl, and one customer.

The layout of the club is not bad. You enter on the west side in about the middle of the club. On the far left wall, (north side) is and elevated stage that had decent lights on it. Most of the club was the bar that wound in and out across the club. To your far right were the restrooms and an outside door to the smoking area. The club atmosphere was average.

The barmaid was about 40, white and about 20 lbs. over weight. The other girl, (I don’t know if she was a dancer, hostess, entertainer or what), was about 35, white and about 15 lbs. over weight. She did nothing, but sit at the bar and drink. I sat at the bar had three beers at $3 apiece and listen to the barmaid talk. Nothing happened the 1 ½ hours I was there. No dances, no touching, no talk of private dances, nothing.

Overall, it was not a good time and it will be about 5 years before I go back.
