Came 10PM to Flashdancers Downtown. The door is highly "busy" or better put, buried in a sidewalk dining set up of the not-strip restaurant next door. Anyways, there is a doorman in an officer cap that does nothing and a real bouncer at the door. Front leftish is cover desk and coat check. Cover is $20. A waitress instantly will try to grab you and plant you in the rear stage area if you dont say you want to be at the bar. Now that I shook her off, I am in the bar area. Right side wall is bench of dancers doing nothing on their phones and 2 ministages with girls. All guys are the bar looking at the bar, ignoring the 2 front stages. The club has a mandatory drink. I got a $16 wine. 5 men, 15 women when I came. All 5 men at the bar, only 1 had a dancers attention. All women spanish, usually old and very thin, some with plastic tits and wigs. All that I spoke to, know english, not off the plane. Its a want a dance club, they wont say their names. I got a price quote, $700 no privacy (shared with other couples) for 15 mins or $1700 for a room with a door. I asked if a lower price exists for low 100s, girl said no and walked away.

I tried walking upto the rest of the girls in the front room, "do you want company?" they all said no.

About 30 mins later, a group of 5 men came together, were planted by a waitress in the rear area, in seconds 5 girls ran up, pulled up chairs and sat down. Either their are regulars, or you MUST be planted by a waitress to get attention and then the uglies comes and force-sit with you. 3 years ago, coming here with a friend, who was a regular here, he always got planted by a waitress, and when I was with him, we always got run upto by the dancers. Maybe I made a mistake to not be assigned a chair in the rear this night.
