A New Home Club?
What to do on a fall Sunday with no Eagles? Let the monger out!
After a disappointing stop at another (empty) competitor club In South Philly, I decided to stop at Lou Turk's on my way home. I'm a third generation monger at this place, and the vibe is definitely much improved.
I rolled in about 8:30, paid the $10 cover, endured the mask check and metal detector and took a look around. Nothing much has changed since my last visit, except that the place is IMMACULATE. The were plenty of good-sized, sharp TVs showing Sunday Night Football and The NLCS. The main bar is straight ahead with a center pole. If there were seats at the bar it would seat about 50 in an oval around the show.
