Chief, this aint it...at least NOT the midweek spot to be
Found myself back in the Sun City, and perfect timing to with a brand new club: Buck's Cabaret. Ive had good experiences at other Buck's locations around Texas, so I was excited to experience Buck's with a Latin flair.
.
As its a new club, let me start with thr layout:
The club is surprisingly small. Almost claustrophobically so. There's are two bars, a small one right by the entrance, and a larger one to the right with several TVs for watching the game. Theres a main center stage with two poles, and a secondary stage closer to the large bar with another two poles. The girls do 3-4 songs each, with 3-4 girls dancing at the same time. Around the main stage are some small tables and seats, and a couple of walled off couches/tables(short walls 2-3ft high, not for dances but rather for dividing up spaces for groups. My guess is theres a small fee to get these tables, but didnt inquire). Heres the thing, theres almost a 1:1 ratio of the more luxury walled of couches to normal tables. This makes the already small space, even more cramped! Not a fan of how they layed out the club. It is a tight space. Then theres VIP. When I went mid week, there was no wristband/price to get in, but there was a little counter where a bouncer hangs out so I figured on weekends they could charge. VIP is a set of long couches with dividers in between. So theres some privacy between you and your neighbor, but nothing too crazy. The vibe is very classy though, and it was pristine in there. So they get points for that. Overall though, the over creation of those walled of luxury seats is too much to overcome so i'd score layout a 4-5/10.
