Very slow Tuesday afternoon, high priced dance options
After my initial stop at LFH I proceeded a short distance down Bunkum to Scarlett's on the left. The parking lot of this place is huge. It was nearly empty around 2:00pm this Tuesday. Inside the club was the same. There were five dancers that I could see, 4 white and one black. A couple were talking to customers, a couple were just sitting at the bar and one was on stage.
There was no cover when I arrived. A bottle of Coors Light was $6.75. One girl near me at the bar when I sat down asked if I wanted dances. I said maybe in a little bit, after I got my beer and relaxed a bit. She then engaged in a conversation with the female bartender and didn't give me another look.
After a couple minutes I walked over to sit near the large stage which is to the left of the bar. The stage has one pole and a large hanging hoop like a hula hoop which dancers can use a bit like a swing. The dancer on stage had finished by the time I moved near the bar and then the stage remained empty for several songs. The DJ called a name a couple of times but no one went on stage.
