Chicas, not so bonita, but satisfying dance

I was in Las Vegas for unexpected business, so on a whim I decided that being vaccinated and wearing a mask was low risk reason enough to to check out a low rent - high payoff strip club I went to many years ago when I had a lot of business in Vegas. I think the name has changed though.

Chicas Bonitas is in North Las Vegas, which is a run down part of town. The immediate area around Chicas Bonitas is probably safe; there being a lot of traffic on Las Vegas Boulevard and a casino across the street. But don’t wander too far off the beaten path.

I got there just before 4PM, and my timing was good as the cover charge starts at 4PM. I was told that there was a two drink minimum. I usually ignore that. They wanted you to wear a mask when walking around, which was fine with me, but it was OK to sit and drink without one. This dancers seemed to follow this willy-nilly, some wore masks while walking around, some didn’t, and some wore them so they only covered their mouth. This would have bothered me more if I wasn’t vaccinated. I don’t think that the management was taking any real anti-Covid precautions. Probably no different than in many public places these days.
