The Return to Hong Kong / Not happy with Cascadas

After almost two years of being away, I ventured down to Zona Norte. The pandemic had canceled several planned visits. I got there on a Tuesday afternoon and left on a Thursday evening.

The Club. Hong Kong is back to rocking. Many have mentioned that Chevalas has basically been merged into Hong Kong. There are separate entrances for each club. But there are two large doorways between them and you can freely go back and forth. There is not much happening in Chevalas. They play old time Mexican music in there. One thing I learned was that the girls have to spend their first hour on duty inside Chevalas. Each time I would walk into that area, there would be about 20 girls and maybe two patrons. I began to use this to my benefit. If you don't want to be with a girl that has already been with one or five other guys that day, go into Chevalas and find your girl. They just got to work. You can actually go get a girl in Chevales and take her into Hong Kong to do your ficha drink. She just can't go into Hong Kong herself until after that first hour.

Prices have gone up. A ficha is now $10 so you have to give an extra dollar to tip the waiter. Not a big deal but you need to bring more ones with you. But the girls prices have gone up also. Daytime, a girl quotes $100 for an Arriba and they hold firm on that. Starting in the evening, most girls ask for $120 now. I had one girl ask for $180. When I tried to negotiate her down, she got up and walked away. She was gorgeous, but she was holding firm at that $180.
