Happy Surprise Ending

Visited Tuesday evening 8:45-11:00. Free parking in a paved, lighted, and fenced-in lot at the back of the building. If you have never been here, it’s important to know that although it has an address on Michigan Avenue, the parking lot *and the entrance to the club* are around back, so you must enter the lot from Kean Street, which runs parallel to Michigan Avenue, one block south. Your GPS won’t tell you that, and your Uber driver might not know that, either.

There was a $10 cover, and though they had rules posted at the door that said, among other things, sweats were not allowed, I was not even questioned about the black Nike sweatpants I was wearing. Bottled Fiji water at the bar was $9.00.

Others have described the club, so I won’t go into much detail on that. It’s a medium-sized place, nicely appointed (though the lap dance rooms are kind of ratty). I sat at the bar, with my back to it, which gave me a chance to survey the entire room. There were about 15 customers, and at least 15 girls working, half black and half white, with a mix of body types, from big to little. In general, I found them all to be attractive in one way or another. Some circulated and came to chat with me, but some sat together at booths and kept to themselves. The music was very loud, making conversations difficult, though it depended on where in the club you were sitting.
