Better Than Expected

Visited Tuesday afternoon, 2:30-3:40. Free parking in a pothole-infested lot; cover $5.00, generic bottled water was $10. To her credit, bartender warned me about the price in advance. Not sure why it’s priced that way, but since I don’t drink alcohol, I am resigned to bite the bullet and pay the going rate as a way to support the clubs I patronize. On the other hand, many people who order drinks order more than one over the course of their visit. One bottle of water will last me several hours, so in the scheme of things, what’s 10 bucks for water?

As described in other reviews, this is a dive bar with girls that probably wouldn’t be hired at the more upscale clubs. At this hour, there were five white dancers and one black one, and only three customers. I like visiting clubs during the day because, even though the selection of girls might not be robust, it’s easier to have access to the cream of the crop.

Music was loud, but not so loud as to make conversations difficult. There were two stages in use; dancers got topless, but I didn’t see any bottoms come off. Actually, I was more focused on getting private dances and didn’t pay that much attention to what was going on – or coming off – on stage.
