Too Early, and Possibly Too Expensive

I’ve been to strip clubs all over North America but I’m on my very first foray into the wilds of East St. Louis. Trying to see a handful of clubs and give a report on each.

Visited Scarlett’s Thursday, 7:00-8:00 pm. Free parking in a large, paved, very well-lighted lot. At this hour, there was no one manning the door, so no cover, ID check, or security of any kind. Bottled water was $6.00 plus tip. Alcohol is available, but I don’t drink. No COVID procedures in place.

In stark contrast from some of the dives not far from here, this is a large and nicely-appointed club. There were three stages, all with poles (one had two), tables and chairs all around the club, and a large rectangular bar with seating all around. They had a DJ playing music pretty loud, which made conversations a little challenging, but not too bad.
