Not So Solid Gold
This was an unplanned stop. I was on my way out of town after visiting a friend working at another club, and had to detour from my planned route. I ended up on Blanding and decided to do a quick stop in NSG. Driving up, a bouncer was engaged in a rather loud conversation with a disgruntled man who I later learned flipped out when they asked him to go through the metal detector. The PO'ed customer exchanged verbal pleasantries with the bouncer and then ran off into the woods behind the club. Personally, I'd have never thought to park there.
Upon entry, I paid my $10 cover and walked through the metal detector without incurring any mental scarring. Turns out, that would end up being the second best part of the evening.
For those that have never been to NSG before, it's a relatively new building. Outside, it's a nondescript steel building that could be just about anything, aside from the giant sign advertising the business. Inside, it looks like the offspring of a strip club and a small warehouse.
