Definitely On An Upswing

The upper parking area parking was mostly full at about 4 PM p.m. on a Friday afternoon. I found an open space, paid my $10 cover at the door, and went inside.

The upper club level was closed as usual. I made my way to the stairs on the left side and went down. The club was brighter than usual. I wasn’t afraid of missing a step in the dark and falling down the stairs as I’m usually am.

The club was busier than I’ve seen it on any of my several previous visits. There were probably 25 or so customers and a similar number girls. I took a seat at the one open seat at the bar and ordered a $5 bottle of water.
