Brighter than the Sun...
First visit to this place post Covid, and I was hoping some changes were put into place, but alas, not so much. More on that in a minute. First the basics. Easy location to get to right off route 80. Decent sized parking lot right in front of the building, so getting in and out is somewhat discreet. When you walk in the DJ is right in front of you blaring house music, which could probably be turned down a notch in my opinion. Kind of a square shaped bar, but decent size. Seating all around. Plenty of bar seats. The ladies dressing room is near one corner of the bar. The place itself is actually fairly nice for a north Jersey go go bar, as it was renovated before Covid hit.
Full bar plus food. I didn't eat, but the menu had some decent options on it, it wasn't just bar food. I only had a hour to kill, so I stopped in on a Tuesday around 5:30pm. It wasn't too crowded, easy to park, easy to find a bar seat. Other than the bars seats, there are 3 other booth type tables, all with Reserved signs on them. But I've never seen anyone sitting there.
I ordered a water, she rang it up on the register for $4.50. I gave her a $10 and she handed me back five singles. I just thought it was funny she kept the 50 cents without saying anything. She was going to get it anyway, but you could at least put it down on the bar first. Makes me wonder if she does that all the time.
