I've reviewed Torpedoes before the pandemic, but I was curious to see how it fared after the pandemic.
Not surprisingly, I did not recognize any of the dancers. The current set seem to be mostly Brazilian. They varied in energy, dance ability, and what they were willing to show, though generally, one gets to see much more than with the former crop of dancers.
I like to chat with dancers and see whether we hit it off before getting a lap dance. I found that few of the dancers, when I was in could hold a long conversation in English. Ah well. I did get one nice dance from someone from NJ.
Otherwise, Torpedoes is much as it always was. It's a dive bar that also has women dancing. The stage is in the center of the bar, with seats all along the bar and no real second row. The dancers do what is usually two rounds of a tip walk inside the bar. There are also a set of pool tables in the back.
