Not great, but they have a monopoly on the area

Showgirls is a local hole in the wall. I haven't read any of their reviews on here so this is purely my unswayed opinion. This is not a one-night review, as I have been there many times. Forgive me, as I will type as the info comes to memory, so it won't be too organized, I imagine.

Showgirls isn't great, but it is a necessary evil because the next closest strip club is 30 minutes away. I've heard this is due to Polk County's sheriff. Love him or hate him, he gets shit done. Anyway, walk into a single pool table and a beer cart. One dancer and one bar girl tend to stand there trying to grab customers. This isn't always the case but it happens often. Continue on to find a bar taking up the span of the closest wall on your left. On your right, you'll find lots of seating and a stage with 2 poles. During the day, 1 girl typically takes the stage per song. At night, both poles are wo-manned. Get it? Wo-manned? Ok, I'm dumb. Bathrooms and 2 communal private rooms are towards the back. To go in the back, it costs $10 per song in the normal room and 20 for the VIP room or whatever they call it. It likely depends on the girl, but I have gone into the more expensive room twice and didn't feel like I was getting anything greater than I would in the $10 room. As I said, it really depends on the girl, your own personality and how attractive you are. I've personally been offered full-on sex a few times but rejected all offers. I've been quoted anywhere from $150-300 for it. They were all average-looking.

Most nights, there will be 1-2 objectively good-looking women. I know that isn't really possible, but I guess I mean to say that most will find at least 1-2 good-looking regardless of taste in women. All other women are average, but you'll probably find 1 or 2 girls that meet your specific taste unless you are picky (which is fine). If you are going in and expecting these women to be models...you are in the wrong place. Most of them are nice, or at least try to act it. Most of them wear their emotions on their sleeve. If your favorite girls looks pissy for any reason, it is best to avoid her. The environment is the usual dark. Music depends on the dancer so it varies greatly. Anywhere from Latin dance music to pop to hip hop. I recall hearing a couple of pop country songs as well. Customer-wise, it is pretty damn diverse. You'll see thugs, perverts, lesbians, bachelor parties, old men, white, black, Hispanic. So dont feel like you wont fit in. If I have to take a guess with the girls, maybe 70% white, 20% Hispanic, 10% black. I've unfortunately never seen an Asian dancer there.
