I was in town for work training so thought I'd try out a strip joint. Enter in the back and walk down a flight of stairs. Looks like a lot of other strip clubs (old and outdated carpet, walls, chairs and tables) but there were ceiling support beams that were really low. I know I'm tall but I bet even people 6' tall would have had to duck. It seemed as though it would be super dangerous if I got even tipsy, much less drunk. I'd be knocked out from a concussion in no time. Bought a beer for strip club price ($7) and found a table. The next think I noticed was the "stage" was a roped off tile area at the same level as the carpet. Then I see a customer go up and tip a girl on "stage" and he literally handed her the money and full arms length and then kept his hand in his pockets. Not sure if it is local laws or local strip club etiquette but not the interaction I'm looking to pay for. A rather tall (she was having to duck those beams in her stripper heels) and attractive girl sat down with me. Waitress hit me up for a stripper drink, I said no. Said I'd get some lapdances if the girl would explain the prices and rules. Before she could do so, she had to go up and dance. About the best looking ladies were two girls who were there for the first time but they only danced once each and left. Having only went to one strip joint in Raleigh-Durham its hard to judge this one against other local ones but wasn't great compared to just about anywhere else I've been.
