Weeknight in Savannah's

Savannah's is probably one of the nicer looking clubs in the area from the outside. They have a large, well lit parking lot right off of a main drag in Winston. They also have a large LED sign out front that flashes different specials they have going on. The inside of the club is fair, not great, but also not a dump. The club feels smaller than it looks from the outside. There is a bar that runs the length of the back wall and a single stage that comes out to the middle of the room. There is also a separate small bar in the basement where all the private dance rooms are located. The bathrooms are weirdly really nice, 10/10.

The service staff at Savannah's I have always found to be really good. There is always a cute bartender who will get you your next drink quick. The waitresses are also very on-the-ball. The dancers are all fairly good looking, I didn't see any total duds, but not any bombshells either. Interactions with dancers at Savannah's are a mixed bag. Some only seem interested in spending time with regulars; even after tipping the stage show generously, not offering anything more than a passing "thanks". Others are more receptive, coming and sitting down at the table and chatting a bit after tipping. On more than one occasion, the dancer would be obviously drunk. I don't believe the club has any restrictions on the dancers drinking during their shift.

Cover charge for Savannah's on the night I stopped by was $7, pretty standard for the area. Drinks are probably the best value the club offers, I was purchasing domestics for $3. Most customers seemed to wait for the periodic 2 for $40 dances, in fact, most dancers seemed like they weren't expecting to sell any dances until the specials started. The 2 for $40 dances are done in the basement of the club and have limited touching. It's a good price, but everyone is trying to get dances with limited girls at the same time, so in that way you can miss out. I know there is a VIP dance as well, but I am not sure how much that was, maybe $100 for 10 minutes, somewhere in that ballpark.

At the end of the day, Savannah's is a fine club. It is better than the other clubs in Winston; but if you can, go 30 minutes down the road to Greensboro where there are multiple better clubs. I will probably come back to Savannah's, at the very least cover + drinks are cheap enough that its not a bad place to hang out and enjoy the scenery for a bit.
