Still good, but it's a show first
So the thing with the Kit Kat Club is that they have themed shows every night. A fairly small stage for the main dancers (and one way in the back that's always got a dancer and never any customers), basically forming a nice little circle around the pole.
I got in around midnight on Saturday night for "Kit Katurday" or something similar, which apparently is just all of the dancers doing their favorite/best routines. They've got costumes, choreography, and so on. When I got in, I guess they weren't at the "show" yet, so there were a couple of girls doing rotations on the pole - good looking, definitely fit, but I didn't catch their names.
For the "show", each girl did 2 songs, usually losing some costume along the way. An MC came up between them, talked about the routine that was coming up and often sold the fact that they were dancing at a sister club (Dante's, a block away) the next night as part of a fancier burlesque and/or circus thing. The girls were all good looking, but it was often their pure choreo/etc that was getting attention. Across the board, crowd interaction was lower than I'd seen there before, possibly related to, y'know, pandemic stuff. I heard that dances were available from a fuzzed DJ around the time I came in, but couldn't hear the prices, and not perfectly clear whether that was for the "normal" dancers or if you could pick someone up after their planned-out show, etc.
