The little strip club that couldn't

A club right off the Las Vegas Strip snd its completely dead. While the nearby strip was busy Club Platinum had 3 customers and 2 older women working. There is no cover charge and imported beers are only $6. The bartender is very quick to claim that there are usually around 10 girls working and that they may still come in if you wait. And wait. The staff is friendly and you're made to feel welcome. The place is clean and there are tvs tuned in to CNN and sports.

We spent over an hour there for the cheap drinks. Cheap by Vegas standards. But the dancers were nothing special. One was our 50. Her hair and makeup and even outfit made her look like an 80s relic. Like she's been there since the 80s. The other dancer had the build of a linebacker and looked like she was in her 40s. Or has led a really tough life. But the older one was the only one to take to the stage.

The club actually felt depressing.
