Meh ... not any better than it ever was

Gold Club in Charlotte isn't anything to write home about, that's the bottom line. It is in a safe-ish part of town, with plenty of free parking in the daytime anyway. It's easy to get to from I-77 and it has good afternoon hours, so if you are a day shift kind of guy it's one of just a few options in the Charlotte area. The club is very small and it's not particularly nice inside. Everytime I've been there there have only been a handful of dances and on this Wednesday afternoon that was the case. There were about five girls working and they were mostly interested in sitting at the tiny bar, checking out their iphones or talking to customers who appeared to be regulars. People complain about a high hustle factor but I don't mind that compared to no interest in interacting with customers. That's what you get here in my experience. The dancers were okay looking and weren't interested in talking. They weren't all that either to put it mildly. I have noticed an uptick in reviews about this club and I had my hopes up but I think this place is a complete waste of time if I'm being honest.
