First time at The Ship

Place: Parking was free. I parked at the back and walked in. The cover charge was 7$. When I walked in there were lots of dancers in the main area sitting on their phones. I headed straight to the bar and was asked if I wanted a dance by 2 dancers before getting to order my drink. The buffet had just opened up and it seemed decent enough. I had just gotten a couple drinks at TMC so I opted for just a water. I sat down in a booth in the main area. The club seems nice enough; it’s very dark. The bathroom was a bit of a let down and the attendant in the bathroom made things awkward as he would just stare at me while I was in there. The private dance area was decently private (booths in a semi-closed off area).

People: The two dancers that accosted me for a dance on my way to the bar were very pushy (one was white and the other was cuban). I just told them that I wanted a drink first and ignored them on my way to the booth. I was approached by A (Cuban with mm everything) once I got to my booth. She wasn’t my type at all (I prefer all natural girls) but the conversation was great and it didn’t seem like there was too much of a better selection (not sure if it’s because I came early in the day shift (1:00-2:00PM). I accepted a dance from her; she waited until the next song started (great; I also told her to count song for me) before getting into it. The dances were pretty good (2) but I didn’t feel it although I did ask her what I could get outside of the VIP area (in Spanish which goes a long way in my experience) and she said anything. I told her thank you then went back to my booth. I was approached by a couple other dancers but none of then tickled my fancy so I left after 2 main stage performances.
