I came in tonight at about 5 o'clock in the evening on a Sunday and I realized it's often slow on a Sunday but there was no one working. I opted to give it a chance and a very nice bartender came over and got me a drink and was super cool and very friendly. She chatted with me for a little bit and with 3 or 4 other guys that were in the place.
After 25 minutes she went over and asked the bouncer/manager if she could dance. She was dressed to dance and said she did dance often but just was supposed to work as a bartender tonight. Told me he said yes and she would grab me for a dance.
Long story short I was the is the 2nd guy there after opening and when one guy walked in obviously a regular, slick looking dude,flashing money, she went right over grabbed his hand and went and danced with him.
OK, cool, I get it, regulars make the world go around. But then, after 4 songs she came out and checked on drinks and went back for 5 more songs with the guy.
A few of us guys got up to leave and the manager and bartender start giving us shit. It was 7 by then, no dances except to mister slick. I get it, workers are hard to get right now, but don't get shitty with me about it. Left with $500 bucks in my pocket.
