Prices Are Up!

This is going to be a quick update and review on two recent visits to Ricks. The first one was about a month ago on a Saturday night. The second one was a weekday afternoon about a week ago. I don’t think I need to describe the interior and layout of Ricks as that has been done in other reviews. Nothing has changed from that perspective.

On my Saturday visit it was early in the night - maybe around 8:00 or so. There were a good number of girls working, maybe 10-12. I politely passed on a couple that were not my type but then one girl came over who caught my eye. We chatted for a bit and then decided to do the fireplace room dance. As I have described before this as a semi-private room and dances are for five songs or about 15 minutes. The cost for as long as I can remember was $150 cash. (A bit more if you use CC). As we checked in with the manager he informed me the dance was now $200. I was surprised at the 25% increase and discussed it with the manager. He agreed to lower it to $150, which was nice. The dance was fine and I ended up tipping the girl another $20, but the price increase wasn’t sitting well with me. I left shortly thereafter.

This brings me to my weekday afternoon trip recently. I was curious as to whether the price increase was permanent. Again, there was a fair number of girls present which is a good for a weeekday afternoon. I ended up chatting with a cute blonde and I questioned her on the fireplace dance cost. She said it was $150. We went up to the manager and confirmed the price so off we went for the dance. Afterwards I was talking with the dancer and told her about my experience on a Saturday night. She confirmed that prices for the evenings and nights have gone up. Fireplace dances are now $200 and hour long is now $650. I did not ask about half hour rooms but I assume that price went up as well.
