New stage sucks

I've been going to this club on and off for years. I have to agree with a recent poster that the new stage is awful. Yes, it's new but its design is not at all to my liking.

The new stage is low, maybe 18" off the ground. Definitely below my knee. It's semi-circular so there's less room than before for chairs (no corners). When I was there, there were only three chairs around the stage but that might have been for distancing; you clearly could put 2-3 more. However, there is NO rail. Nothing. No place to put your drink. You really have to hold your drink or put it on the floor.

Needless to say, this new setup eliminates the possibility of the dancer climbing up on the edge and showing you the goods up close and personal. And obviously there's no climbing over into the "personal space" of the patron. Clearly, it still possible for the dancer to get close, but you both would be on total display with no chance for any interaction.
