Yearly SD visit and TJ detour.

3 friends and myself were down in SD for a weekend. After deliberation we decided to head across the border. We parked behind Jack in the Box, went thru the line quickly. Just showed our passports and we were thru! We crossed the boarder about 1230 in the afternoon. Grabbed a taxi and in 10 minutes we were getting the pat down from security. As others have said it is immediate sensory overload upon parting the black curtains into the promise land!!

This was my 4th time at HK, One friend 4x, one friend 2x and the last friend a HK virgin. Those friends will be called 4,2 and V for the rest of the review. almost immediately we saw our favorite Masero (Rafael). It had been a couple years since myself, 4 and 2 were there and he remembered us. We grabbed a corner both, ordered a beer and a Tequila shot to start off the fun. Almost immediately I saw the girl I took up to arriba last trip. we chatted for a bit and then parted ways only to run into each other later.
