First Visit Post Pandemic

I also decided to stop in at Fantasy World to see how they are recovering as well. Arrived after midnight and found the parking lot almost empty. I counted eleven cars which was not a good sign. There was no line at the door. This doorman also asked me to empty my pockets (something new) and did a physical pat down. It seemed strange he didn't use a security wand, maybe it wasn't charged or it was broken. Cover was $15, but with a coupon from their website it was 1/2 price, $7.

As I headed towards the main room I saw a sign outside the VIP room stating dances were $30 and one hour was $300. I entered and found the place almost empty. There was only 4 patrons and 3 dancers, two Caucasians and one AA, dancers were 4 to 6 in looks. Finding a seat was no problem. I watched a couple of the ladies perform on stage. They looked bored. I never caught their names the DJ was inaudible. It did seem like he didn't bother to announce their names. It seemed like he was bored too. A couple of more patrons did arrive and you could see the look of disappointment on their faces as they entered and found a seat. I thought I saw one waitress/bartender? but she never came over and asked if I wanted anything which was fine because after a few minutes I decided it was time to leave. I did noticed that their main TV was also off too. It looked to be Direct TV. I am guessing because of the pandemic closure they canceled or never renewed their subscription which makes sense, "Why pay for something that is not being used during that time or for the uncertain future?" Its probably the same reason why the TVs at TD's North were off.

WOW! This was the worst I have ever seen this place. The nearly empty parking lot was a big clue. There used to be a time when you could find a diamond in the rough here. It was always hit or miss here. Now it looks like just a complete miss. I don't know how this place can keep operating. This place really needs to do something more to attract more dancers and patrons or it too looks like it will be closing its doors as well. I don't see returning any time soon if this place stays in its current state. I can not even recommend it to anyone to bother paying it a visit.
