On the way home I decided to stop in and see if things had improved at TD's North since May.

Parking lot looked about half full, a good sign. No line at the door. Doorman asked me to empty my pockets (something new) and then proceeded to use a security wand as well while my driver license was being scanned. However, there was NO temperature scan or contact tracing (Writing down your name and phone number on a legal pad for the Dept of Health) being done. Plus, nothing was said about mask requirements or showing proof of vaccination. I did see a sign on the plexiglass by the door girl saying "Masks were Required", but nothing was said to me as I entered. Cover charge was $8, but it was waived with a coupon from their website. (I need to renew my VIP card one of these days). I grabbed a domestic beer at the door for $5.75. More doormen were present and eager to show me to a chair at the stage. I declined and found another spot by the bar with a view of the stages.

I took in my surroundings once I was seated. Something was different about the place, something about the mood or environment, but I couldn't put my finger on it at first. There were about 26 to 30 patrons and I could see about 6 dancers circulating in the room. Only saw two people wearing masks in the place, both patrons. (Could have sworn one could have passed for Bernie Sanders.) So it seemed "wearing a mask" was not being enforced at all. I watched a few of the dancers on the main stage, Sunkist, Tinkerbell, Destiny, Jewel, Valentina, Della, Alize, Rose, Zoey, Bethany, Gypsy, and Jolisa. Third stage got some use, but after awhile no one bothered. I didn't recognized any of the dancers from May or the year before. The dancers looked to be 3s to 7s, mostly brunettes with a couple of blondes. There were at least three waitresses. All were very attractive and attentive checking on me to get me another beer. I was approached by a few of the dancers and ended up getting a few dances, but then found out that there were NO MORE table dances. Apparently, there is a new policy that ONLY VIP dances allowed. I was stunned. I thought I was being taken advantage of, but looking around the room that was one of the things missing. You used to see quite a few dancers doing table dances against the back wall or bar side tables, but I saw none. VIP dances were $25. (I always liked getting the table dances( $10) before the VIP dances to gauge what kind of dancer she would be.) Of the couple of VIP dances I did get, they were one and down. However, one dancer did seem to hint at that more could be had in the champagne room for $300 (Champagne Dreams). I checked with another dancer and found out that the champagne room was actual $275 for a half hour. Chairs around the stage were back. The furniture had not changed, but the lighting had. There seemed to be more black light in use and the stages seemed darker and dimmer, seemed like it was harder to see the dancer on the main stage. I also noticed all the TVS in the place were off. No broadcasts. No sports. (I then started to wonder if the light from the TVs had illuminated the stages as well.) Once in awhile, I did notice some of the dancers doing table dances, some getting away with it, while a couple seemed to draw the attention of the security staff which seemed to put a stop to it. I wondered if it was the recent rise in COVID infections in the state which may had something to do with it or was it just another way TD's North management could insure obtaining some sort of percentage from their entertainers dancing for the customers by getting rid of table side lap dances? (I certainly hope not because that would be shameful.)
