A memorable visit for mostly the wrong reasons
Stopped into this club about 3 weeks ago while working in the area. It’s a far cry from what it was 20 years ago, when this building housed Delilah’s Den, the place where I experienced my first strip club experience, and many more afterwards! I have many fond memories of that place, and often stopped on the way back from the shore.
It may have been my first time back since the fire, though I can’t remember for sure. Which is sort of where I am going with this review. First the club - it’s nice enough. Not like it used to be as DD, but it was reasonably nice. I’ve never ever seen it crowded in the couple times I’ve been over the years.
Like the last time I was there, I walked in early enough for there to be no cover. Nobody was in the cashiers booth. There was a bouncer sitting just inside the club and he greeted me in a friendly manner. He invited me to sit at the stage. There are a couple of poles, and I think there is a side pole but honestly I can’t even remember. I hit the bathroom, just to the right after you walk in, and it was clean. It had tables but I am fairly certain that there was some sort of extra expense for one of them. Didn’t bother asking - it wasn’t going to happen.
